Philanthropy

Philanthropy Committee – The purpose of the community service committee is to improve the standing in the university and local community through altruistic service events and projects.

The committee’s duties include arranging, organizing, and having full charge of the community service activities of the chapter. The committee shall plan a minimum of two philanthropic events per semester and shall maintain a minimum of three continual philanthropic projects. The continual philanthropic events shall serve each one of the following: the university community, the local school district and the local community. The committee shall maintain records of all events, including man-hours volunteered and/or monies raised for charitable causes to be duly reported to the Executive Office at the end of each semester.
